have you considered using multiple profiles/containers in one browser e.g. Firefox supports containers, and Chrome supports profiles?

you should be able to use firefox multi-account containers to the same effect

Have you tried firefox's container extension? A more light weight, but easy to use separation of "profiles"

You should use "Multi account containers" instead of profiles in firefox. It's like profiles in chrome/edge but it works by tab instead.

Firefox has a great feature for this: multi-account containers. The UI is trash, but it's usable.

Firefox has containers that allow you to effectively run multiple profiles at once.

Good idea, never thought of using Firefox container tabs. May be able to do a similar thing with Chrome profiles.

Firefox Multi-Account Containers work for this too.

Is this equivalent to Firefox Multi-account containers?

ghusto Nov 27, 2023 View on HN

You don't need profiles in Firefox, there's a much better solution called Container Tabs. If you're using profiles to keep things like work and play separate, check it out and thank me later ;)
