Don’t they need security clearances to do this?

sjs7007 Aug 27, 2021 View on HN

Well you have security clearances already no?

kevin_thibedeau Dec 29, 2023 View on HN

The US government does that for security clearances.

Maybe there's an exception for security clearance?

taywrobel Jan 22, 2021 View on HN

Good news/bad news.Good news is that I was one of those people that had a clearance, so can confirm that those individuals exist at least.Bad news is because I had a clearance, I can’t say anything more than that. Way too much liability to even speak vaguely about it, even tho I no longer have it. The US government doesn’t play around with that type of stuff.

Anything that requires a security clearance.

astrange Mar 17, 2023 View on HN

What's the problem with that? It doesn't have a security clearance.

rocqua Apr 26, 2017 View on HN

I'd guess if you need security clearance for your job?

Is there a security clearance requirement?

mikeash Feb 16, 2017 View on HN

It seems like that would only work if you actually have the appropriate security clearance. And they're probably OK with letting people with clearances get through with less screening.
