Soon you'll realize you're the "AI". We've lost control.

Here's why AI taking over and leading humans might actually be good news!

Do you really want to give an AI control of your future?

In the future the have-somethings will own AI and the have-nothings won't.

https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=39527477AI is being pushed by brunchlords to make another buck IMO.The scariest part is it all looks like universe 25; the haves and the have-nots, and subsequent behavior, including population decline and extinction. We've got front row seats to the human version; I'm praying it turns out differently.<a href="https://www.victorpest.com/

If AI is controlled by the current players, this is the most probable endgame of the current AI trajectory. Not human extinction, but a permanent dystopia where most of humanity is manipulated 24/7 for profit by a few advertising companies. I remember when I actually believed computers would make us more creative, more productive, more self-realized. That they would make lives better. A lot of people used to think this. It’s still a possibility but now it’s unlikely to be the winning side.

AI would end this civilisation of greedy paranoics. If even the tech to spread knowledge (internet) has become a tool of oppression, AI won't have a chance to improve anything.
