Laptop Aspect Ratio Preferences

power consumption, other then that i also dont see it. i have laptops with 16:9 16:10 and 3:2. I find the 16:9 worse.

Cool, so buy something else; literally every laptop on the market is catering for you, and I'm genuinely happy for you-- but those of us who prefer taller aspect ratios have nothing.. please let us have this.

Anything taller than 16:9. Unless you like scrolling, or use the professional developer laptop for watching movies all day.

Same! Not even on an ultrawide, but 16:9 laptops make usable vertical real estate a priority

yada yada ... It's still a 16:9 screen ratio, why not betting on 16:10 instead?

Kinda weird, remember my 4:3 in portrait mode fondly. 16:10 might be decent.

yea doesn't make sense. maybe they are using a small sized screen and are getting confused by that.personally on a laptop i prefer 3:2 for most things but on a larger monitor i like 16:9 since you can have two programs side by side.on a 16:9 smaller laptop screen, having things like two file browsers side by side works ok, but having programs with lots of ui, adobe premier or photoshop, not so much
