I'm on the latest Firefox, everything is fine. It's smooth enough, even on integrated graphics.
It's a GPU-heavy demo site. My Firefox on Linux handles it fine.
Turning off hardware acceleration in Firefox seems to make it work much better. No idea why!
Really bad on Firefox on Windows 10 64-bit (latest) with an i7-7700k and GTX-1060 6GB as well
Unusable on Firefox sadly, was getting maybe 5 fps.
Loads instantly for me on FF desktop and laptop running linux. But i have experienced what youre talking about. You either have graphics hardware support disabled or youre laptop CPU is not running in perfoance mode and has its govenor set to something like balanced or power saving mode.
Chrome and Firefox work fine, no lag, over here (Ubuntu). Must be a specific problem on the GP's machine.
Maybe it's a browser issue and not GPU / CPU
Worth checking that Firefox is (also) using the GPU correctly.
Smooth for me in Firefox on linux too. Maybe check about:support to see if there's any graphics driver issue?
