Reddit runs well IMO if you go to old.reddit.com. The mobile site is borderline useless, presumably intentionally.
I always use old.reddit.com - I find the default site virtually unusable
I can't stand the new reddit I'm always on the old.reddit
I have a firefox extension to automatically redirect to old.reddit.com for the same reason. It's faster, more compact, easier to read, easier to navigate.
Thatβs because new Reddit is laden with ads and JS and crap. Try https://old.reddit.com
I use https://old.reddit.com since I can't grasp the new UI
