Any paper to understand the technique behind the breathing exercises??
Its weird that they are showing mouth breathing with a device. Just do nose breathing and slow down the exhale and the inhale for a total of about 5-6 breathes per minute.Go to google and search on "breathing exercise" and you get a little app that will help you dial in this pace. This too will lower your blood pressure, help you focus and reduce anxiety!
I had better experience with the 4-7-11 technique: inhale for 4 seconds, exhale for 7 seconds, repeating for 11 minutes:https://github.com/mmazzarolo/breathly-app/issues/73
This reminds me of Wim Hof's breath work / breathing exercises.
cool. so exhale longer than inhaling and repeat multiple times. I think this works. thanks for sharing
I feel the same. I've been using "Box Breathing" gifs* for a long while and this one here feels like I'm just making myself get out of breath with shallow breathing that do not fill my lungs. Perhaps it is the point but the page does not go into details.* https://quietkit.com/box-breathing/
Impressive. Can you point to some references regarding the breathing technique?
You are an expert in taking a deep breath and...
Thanks, now I am manually breathing.
