Just rent instead and negociate a fixed rent for the next X years.
What does the good deal look like here if there no new tenants ?
There is typically a term to a lease, so maybe you were just month to month.
Why not sign shorter term leases??
Leases expire. Ownership doesn't.
Got it - apologies for misunderstanding you. I thought you were suggesting the opposite (I.e. that there is nothing to violate because of the lack of a long-term lease). :)
Put everyone on the equivalent of a month to month lease
Doesn't look like landlords are expecting this is a long term thing. Monthly rents are more expensive for 12 month leases than 6 month leases right now
Only if you are renting month to month
Good thing I signed right before the rent drop and can't break my lease
