What about a 40 hour week working just 4 days?
Me too - but there are now companies offering a 4 day week with 0% drop in salaryhttps://4dayweek.io/
At my old job i switched to 4 days a week. I'm pretty sure I got more work done overall and only got paid 80% for it. It should be a no brainer for employers
what is so bad about workers taking a 4 day weekend?
I'd go with a 4 day workweek instead
A four day work week would help.
People are still recommending the 4 hour work week?
I'm working for a company that was originally a 40h workplace, but since last month and until the end of January will test a 32h week, with preferably the Fridays off (preferably because there are some departments that must have at least one person every day). I've actually been working a 4-day week for the past 2.5 years now, working 30 hours a week instead of 37.5.My employer has got the better end of the deal by far - I'm as productive as I was working a 5-day week, but had to take a 20% pay cut. Still, it works for me, giving me extra time for family and side projects.
