De-Googling Advocacy

Don't use Google services and you'll be a happier person. :)

This is a reminder to get away from google services. It’s just not worth it. Give a few bucks Each month to a company where you are the customer and not the product.

I would stop using google products...

Did the same a while ago due to Google trying to push it's services too hard. Also, the less I rely on Google the better :)

Yet another reason to stop using Google services.

You can by not using Google products. Change the search for ddg or kagi. Change your email for proton. Use Dropbox instead. Remove Chrome, live with iceweasel or Firefox.It is not like you'll be loosing much. This is the time to change, while we still have other players in the market.

"Google does not care about their users". Well.. I have been trying to move away from Google services for a long time, unfortunately it is very tightly integrated in my life (Gmail, Android etc.) and I am both lazy and loath to spend money. Google is fine for now but I won't hesitate to jump ship if I find myself looking at better options.

You can choose not to use Google at all. Pay other companies like FastMail. Kagi for search, etc.
