I've been getting about 80 mb/s. Still outperforms the only available alternative in my area by 500x.

No worries.. best of luck with that. As a total aside, fast.com is giving me 420mbps which should be impossible given my wifi setup. :/

Maybe your ISP is generally throttling your traffic but whitelisting speedtest et al to hide it.
