I can second this. I have access to 3 internet providers in my neighborhood. I'm getting 100Mbps for $50 a month.
My god, I have the privilege of paying $60/Month for 4Mbps - not symmetric
Move to Romania instead. Symetrical gigabit ftth for ~18$/month. I have had it for almost a year now.
I'm in an area with competition and I think I'm paying like $60/month for 10Gbps.
I pay $250/month for 1Gbps in USA, and itβs not even symmetrical.
If you're referring specifically to ADSL then yes, however VDSL is passable, typically 100 down/10 up. Fiber would be ideal, but not worth 4-5x the price IMO (currently paying $33/month).
they are often "up to 1Gbps" and also not available everywhere. In my area it's also at least 70 EUR, so I am fine with 400Mbps at home.
You're lucky. I have to pay comcast $70/month for 12mbps
$90-120 for internet per month? that better be like 150Mbps+ up/down
Wow, 45-90Mbps for $3k-$6k/mo.
