That's alright, there's always Sublime Text.
I use Sublime and it works well.
Sublime Text is suffice for me. Cross-platform and extendable.
Try vscode, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised that it's in fact now leaps and bounds ahead of sublime.

And must say Sublime text (currently still v2) This thing has saved me million of times and hours. You can do so much with it.
Definitely recommend sublime text 2. Currently nothing comes close.
