My AdSense account was suspended three times because I had an exclamation mark in my ad. I closed my account after that. I am certain Google still tracks my account as "potential fraud" to this day.
They don't do that. I have my account blocked on adsense/adwords since 2006. Some "illegal" clicks bullshit that wasn't my fault. I can still use any other google service without problems, it just tell me I'm blocked if I go to adsense.
This is par for the course with Google. Many Adsense accounts have been terminated for similarly vague policy violations. I am sure they catch a lot of bad actors, but they also catch a lot of folks who have no clue what they have done wrong, in many cases losing a large part of their income. Google does send warning emails, but they are so vague as to be useless in figuring out the violation.
i suffered this several years ago. even had a good friend explore, in person, the team who banned me. no movement, no appeal.my adsense account still shows hundreds of dollars to pay out that they wont. sadly no other easy to launch-with ad tool (e.g. yahoo) for a regular home user with a site can yield much money. they really have a monopoly, and this behavior just screws people.in this scenario, fuck google.
We were suspended once for serving deceptive ads. Yet the only ad network we use is Google Adsense. We had to remove Google Ads to be allowed back in.
I've heard of people having their Adsense account disabled or Adwords campaign rejected because of it though.
Considering asking users to click ads is against Google Adwords TOS, they probably got banned.
I built a blog in 2008 with few articles and luckily got my account approved in Adsense. after a month I was banned for lifetime with reason of invalid clicks and violating terms. I still don't know why that happened? last I try to re-apply in 2013/14, again I was reject for no reason.I can really see a monopoly of google in this ad-space. because they can always throttle our traffic if we use other network.
Say you don't agree with a particular site that's using adsense. You could (for instance) have you and all your friends click over and over again on the ads on that site, which Google will quickly flag as fraudulent.Any site that attracts a large number of fraudulent clicks is going to get their AdSense account banned. The site owner has no recourse if this happens to them: they agreed to it when they signed up in the first place - Google can drop them for whatever reason they feel
did you pay for any ads to google? otherwise no wonder you get suspended
