Upon creating an account, HN shadowbans some accounts randomly to stop spam and bad faith comments. Typically the ban is lifted after about a week, so persevere.

I suggest making a new account or emailing [email protected]. Obfuscating some words because apparently even alerting you of this gets comments auto-flagged.
