Depends how long you're willing to backport security fixes. Even Red Hat only goes ~15 years.

The LTS is only supported for two years. That doesn't really solve this problem.
Why would you expect them to continue supporting a 5 year old OS version?
LTS support lasts for 5 years so this works out to be a problem that happens twice a decade so I'm willing to put up with it.
What do they mean by "we aim to support..." doesn't sound very sure of 7 years of updates.
It's hardly shutting down if the support will last another 6 years ...
It's a problem of long-term support. At some point, the old Linux version is not supported anymore and any newly discovered bugs become a problem.
How about an “Officially Supported Until:” date?
