you could say that "sexy women" ads were designed by men. This isn't so much of a FTFY as much of just a different perspective of the same comment.
Both genders objectify each other on a regular basis. There isn't even anything wrong with that (unless objectifying each other is the whole of your entire concept and interaction with the other gender). The issue here is pretty clear cut. It wasn't appropriate for the setting in which it was presented. Nothing more. A stupid app, Cosmo magazine, pinup posters, physical attraction, and so on aren't really relevant and don't need to be inherently demonized.
You have to look at both sides. Women are also attracted to imagery of men where the entire focus is on their outward appearance, which is usually some exaggeration of some fantasy "ideal". Why no outrage articles about those depictions?
So we're sexist and objectifying women by upvoting the article?
Inherently sexist/misogynist/objectivising the human female form?
"because men need more ways to objectify women" .. But they're objectifying actual inanimate objects, not women.
Is it misogynistic to revel in the female form?
women are sexier than men, so this is just anti-women.
labeling it as "for women" is wise, because that makes it acceptable. the media is fuming, stomping their feet and foaming at the mouth about generative AI being used by men for what little sexual gratification can be obtained from low quality slop LLMs and image generator produce.
Ironically I think you are the one objectifying women by implying those devices are only for pleasuring women.
