History belongs to the victorious.e.g. Majority of world* still believes Iraq had WMD. We don't care enough for what happens in the far off lands.Edit: Where are the sanctions against USA(& friends)? Perhaps, all want cheaper oil : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petroleum_industry_in_IraqConscience(military suicides) is there, actions otherwise.Edit2:

You would have thought folks would have learned from the Iraq War that the US lies. I'm no fan of Khomeini's sabre-rattling, but if people are really buying into the narrative that we did this because they had nukes, idk what to tell you besides go read your history.

I googled it and found some articles about it, link to one of them:https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/03/22/iraq-war-...Now for more context why I did this: Back then when Bush started pushing for the war, I immediately considered him a liar, I am not from US, and from

" And we've sometimes acted like an evil invader. (See Blackwater atrocities, etc.)"Blackwater!? That we were there at all was an invasion based on a lie and a tragedy of convenience. 9/11, strong connection to Afghanistan and a Saudi/Yemen family ... let's invade Iraq! I think we're still searching for the real weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction#2003_Iraq_War" rel="nofoll

Wait a minute, it's not like everyone through the war in Iraq was a good thing until Bradley Manning leaked information about it, or that there was a news blackout about how poorly it was going or that the US created a power vacuum that degenerated into a hideous civil war. I'm not willing to address any of the detail in your argument when you start out with such an enormous attempt at misdirection.Try again by all means, but please don't treat your readers like idiots.

I think you mean the US invasion of Iraq under completely false pretences

What's your point? Hadn't the US been DDOSed, Iraq wouldn't have been invaded? Your comment makes no sense.

Not sure why you’re so downvoted. This is exactly what happened during the Iraq War. The official truth was Saddam had WMDs and all the mass media held to that line with a few exceptions. It was all wrong.

Your parent is very likely referring to the US and UK assertions of Iraqi WMDs to justify the 2003 coalition invasion of Iraq.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rationale_for_the_Iraq_War#Wea...Granted, your parent doesn't explicitly state this, but this is generally what's meant when this theme is referred to.Are you referring to

Would that have anything to do with the disaster of the Iraq War, by any chance?
