Wasn't the internet supposed to be decentralized to avoid this very problem?
Hmm, almost like what happend to the internet... the idea being "everything is decentralized", but now +80% of traffic passes through Cloudflare and over 90% of mails come from 2 providers!
Arenβt all internets decentralized?
It will break the decentralised Internet ?
The internet has become too centralized.
The Internet is decentralized, but its main services (social networks, video hosting) aren't.

It's not really technological or social, it's logistical. We've had all kinds of redundant network topologies that used independent networks for decades. The internet is decentralized, and it works pretty well, all things considered. The web is fairly decentralized, too: DNS is independent of a registrar is independent of a network service provider and all are independent of ISP's, and even those are independent of backbones. The only thing that isn't very decentrali
We have something even better than that! The Internet is decentralised, no matter how much CF tries to pretend it isn't. Just choose not to use services like CF.
