LoRa(WAN) has kms of range and is cheap and power-efficient.
Lora is not for general usage / internet. Basic messaging - maybe. But it achieves a few kbps in good conditions.
LoRa is a closed protocol... probably not
With lora support, it would make for a nice off the grid communication device.
