Try the Pi4 Compute Module IO boardhttps://www.raspberrypi.org/products/compute-module-4-io-boa...

What does the pi do? Feels like something that could get replaced with an ESP32 if it needs to be remote or just an ftdi chip or some other usb to gpio if not

Do you already support the Raspberry's GPIOs or do you plan to do so?

yjftsjthsd-h Jul 6, 2025 View on HN

I think Raspberry Pis basically give you that via GPIO?

declan_roberts Jul 4, 2025 View on HN

Did you not use any of the pi's IO?

Will these ports help Raspberry Pi versions of the same programs?

flak48 Jun 12, 2024 View on HN

Do any of the alternatives you've listed expose GPIO pins ?

I guess this could run on the Raspberry Pico - RP2040 / RP2350.

If only they had a version that leaves the gpio pins accessible...

wiredfool Feb 25, 2015 View on HN

Would this potentially give a PI way more GPIO pins?
